Obituary of James Adamo

James Adamo, 20, of Freehold Township died on November 4, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Marlboro Township. He was born in Freehold Township. James was a graduate of Freehold Township High School, Class of 2019. He enjoyed bowling and fishing and was passionate about automobiles and attending concerts. He was an amazing artist, photographer and woodworker. His father, Joel Adamo, died in 2012. He was also predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Anton Schwerthoffer; his paternal grandmother, June Adamo; and an uncle Donald Schwerthoffer. He is survived by his mother, Karen Adamo; a sister, Jessica Adamo; his maternal grandmother, Kathy Schwerthoffer; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his girlfriend Dani. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 3:00 7:00 p.m. A funeral service and time of remembrance will be held during the visitation at 6:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in James’ memory to a charity of your choice or the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad, 18 Spring Street, Freehold, NJ 07728
