Obituary of Michael Martin

Michael P. Martin, of Freehold NJ passed away November 4, 2021 at the age of 77. He was veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1966. He was a firefighter for the City of Perth Amboy before his retirement. He was an avid train collector, loved fishing in Cape May, playing pool, and was a Boy Scout Michael was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374, Freehold. He was a supporter of many organizations including St. Jude Hospital, and the local EMS, fire, and police departments. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church Freehold. Michael is survived by his sisters, Mary Cabana (Freehold, NJ) and Patsy Kennedy (Florida). Michael is also survived by his three children, Michele Martin, Michael Martin (Tina) and Christine Chang (Henry); and four grandchildren, Brady, Henry, Molly and Lucy. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
