Obituary of Ann Petroff

Ann Petroff, 96, of Freehold Township went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 19, 2021. She was born in New York City and resided in Freehold Township since 1947. She was a long time member of the Evangelical Baptist Church, Freehold. A devoted wife and loving mother, she is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Alexander Petroff, and daughter, Joyce Petroff Mele. Surviving are her three sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Elaine Petroff, David and Beth Petroff and Gregory and Holly Petroff; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Mele Hoffman and her husband Michael, Alexandra Mele Thompson and her husband Mark, Julianne Mele, Catharine Petroff Morin and her husband Matthew, Caroline Petroff, Emily Petroff Alwell and her husband Kevin, Nicholas Petroff and two great-grandchildren, Julia Thompson and Gordon Alwell. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
