For all our growing up years, Uncle David's children were just photos accompanying the annual Christmas card; so it was such a delight, as adults, to meet them in person both in Utah and in New Jersey. Kathleen's home was always a welcoming stopover to me and my family when we found ourselves on the east coast, whether passing through from Europe, or for an intentional visit. Because Kathleen is just a few months older than I, with our interests as teachers, and many other similarities, we had a special bond, and enjoyed the differences of our upbringings right along with the family lore we shared. What a delightful cousin to have discovered! And now, thanks to her, we are blessed to continue the association with her children, grandchild(ren), Susan, Frank, Brian, Christopher, Jeff, and those yet to come.
