Obituary of Veronica M. Overholser

Veronica “Ronnie” M. Overholser, 74, of Freehold passed away on August 27, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Bayonne. She was a bookkeeper for Greif Inc., Millstone Township before her retirement. Ronnie was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold where she served as an eucharistic minister. Her husband, William Overholser, died in 2013. Surviving are three children and their families, Veronica and Anthony Romeo and their three children, Devin, Logan, and Taylor Lee Romeo; Rita Ann and Peter James Hutchins and their three children, Dillon Corey, Maddison Corey, and Simon Hutchins; and Patrick Overholser and Daniela Galvez and their children, Phoenix Overholser and Kymani Febo. She is also survived by three sisters, Patricia Morganroth, Maryann Koserowski and Monica Halloren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Adler Aphasia Center, 60 West Hunter Ave, Maywood, NJ 07607 would be appreciated.
