Obituary of Richard David Schreiber

Richard David Schreiber, 79, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at his home. Born in Jersey City, he lived there prior to moving to Freehold over 50 years ago. Mr. Schreiber was a maintenance man for Nestle Company, Freehold for over 35 years, retiring 15 years ago. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann Williams Schreiber, and his son, Douglas Snyder. Surviving are his sons, Lou-Ron Schneider, Greensboro, Vermont, Michael Schneider, Ocean Township, and Ernest Schneider, Rutland, Vermont; two daughters, Lou-Ann Kates, Acworth, Georgia, and Elizabeth Schreiber-Schlesinger, South Brunswick; eight grandchildren, Curt, Kim, Heath, Cori, Melanie, Kyle, Sydney and Rachel; and many great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, Freehold.
