Obituary of Doris J. Desmond

Doris J. Desmond, 83 of Winter Springs, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she lived in Manalapan Township for 36 years, prior to moving to Florida in 2001. She was a communicant of St. Stephen’s Catholic Community Church, Winter Springs, Florida. She was a former communicant of St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan Township. She was predeceased by her husband, John P. Desmond in 2018, and her daughter, Mary Ellen Santoli in 1994. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Angela Desmond; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Jeffrey Ruetschi and Doreen and Raymond Forsythe; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Arlene Racioppo and Kenneth and Marie Racioppo; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Anthony Maturo, Susan and Charles D’Alessandro, and Camille and Robert Croke; and six grandchildren, Grace, Ryan, Kevin, Kristen, Jaxon and Harrison. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
