Obituary of Edward Mildner

Edward Mildner, 71, of Millstone Township passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at his home. He was born in Manhattan, New York He was kind, wise, unselfish, and loved by his family. He never held a grudge and was always willing to roll up his sleeves and lend a hand to anyone who needed help. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was an active member and officer of the B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 2613, Clarksburg and a member of the Fossils South Jersey Car Club. During his time in service to our country, U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Edward Mildner was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal, among many others, for his bravery and sacrifice during the four years he served in the Vietnam War. A devoted husband, and caring father, he was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor Mildner, in 2020, and their son, Edward A. Mildner, in 2014. Surviving are his daughter, Michele Guerra, and her two sons. Memorial Donations to Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
