Obituary of Robert C. Geberth

Robert C. Geberth, 84, of Freehold Township passed away on May 7, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Syosset, N.Y. He was a professional engineer for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority where he was Northern Division manager. After his retirement from the Turnpike Authority, he was employed at Cantor Fitzgerald, Princeton. He was president of the Applewood Estates Board of Directors and president of Palmetto Dunes Property Owners Association, Hilton Head, South Carolina. His wife, Ann Z. Geberth, died in 2009. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Diane Geberth, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nadia and Robert Sweitzer, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Elizabeth and Steven Zomer, Allentown; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Kristen, Katie, Joyce, Meagan, Crystal, Sarah, and Steven, Jr.; and two great grandchildren, Logan and Aurora. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
