Obituary of Larry Williams, Jr.

Larry Williams Jr. was born on June 4, 1960 in Neptune Township to Gloria Jean Williams (Oliver) and Larry Williams. He passed away at his home on April 14, 2021. He attended the Freehold Borough School District and graduated from Freehold High School. Larry was a dedicated Senior Maintenance Worker for the Monmouth County Department of Public Works and Engineering, spending much of his tenure at the Monmouth County Police Academy until his retirement in 2014. Larry spent many years in Freehold Borough, and later in life relocated to his family home in Farmingdale, NJ. Larry was known for his kindness, love of sports, and his many collection hobbies. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and listening to classic Soul Music. He was predeceased by his father, Larry Williams. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Gloria Jean Williams (Oliver), his sisters, Diane Smith, Yvette Georges, and Jeanette Williams, his sister-in-law, Wendy Millar, nieces and nephews, Janaki Cuffee (Oliver), Janelle Opoku (Williams), Darrell Reid, Aneka Fawn Piverger (Williams), and Ronald Balabhadra, and a host of grandnieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. The interment will be at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
