Obituary of Edward J. Ferro

Edward J. Ferro, 69 of Manalapan Township, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Newark, he lived in Freehold prior to moving to Manalapan Township last year. Mr. Ferro was a cashier for ShopRite, Freehold for the past 30 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Freehold B.P.O. Elks No. 1454, and the Freehold V.F.W. Post No. 4374. When his boys were young, he was active with the Freehold Borough Little League. He was predeceased by his wife, Annie Brinser Ferro in 2011; his daughter, Jessica Marie in 1977; and his brother Theodore. Surviving are his sons, Timothy Ferro and his wife Laura, Middlesex, and William C. Ferro and his fiancée Breanne Joseph, Hazlet; his sister, Rita Floyd, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Patrick, Ariana, Lorenzo, Myles and Oaklyn. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations care of Ed's family would be appreciated.
