Obituary of Richard Henderson Oliver

Richard Henderson Oliver, 78, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 26th, 2021 after a brief illness at JFK Hospital in Edison, New Jersey. Richard was born to John and Mary Oliver on May 19, 1942 and grew up in Farmingdale, New Jersey. Richard attended the Freehold School District and spent time in the United States Army. Richard was a trucker for Dana Transport Companies until his retirement. Later in life, Richard found love again by reconnecting with Diane Warren. Richard and Diane enjoyed every day they spent together with joy and laughter. The two shared a life filled with family, extended family, and an expansive network of close friends. He is survived in loving memory by his companion of 16 years, Diane Warren, his two sons Bryan Ferreira (NJ), Richard Oliver Jr. (NJ), son-in-love Darrand Ryols (NJ), one sister-Gloria (Jean) Williams (NJ), one aunt-Dinah Martin (VA), one uncle-Mike Terry (NJ) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, special “grandchildren'', extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly. Condolences can be sent to Higgins Memorial Home in Freehold, NJ and visitation will be from 11:00-12:00. Due to COVID restrictions, the funeral service will be limited to family only. Interment will follow the service at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls, NJ.
