Obituary of Doris Elizabeth Simmonds

Doris Simmonds, 98, of Freehold Township passed away on March 11, 2021. She was born in Newark on November 30, 1922, and had resided in Freehold Township since 1973. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Lela Taylor Simmonds, and younger sister of the late Olive Simmonds Woodward. Surviving are a nephew, William H Woodward Jr, Seattle, Washington; a niece, Mary Olive Woodward, Seville, Spain; and three grand-nephews and their children. The interment will be held at Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
