Obituary of Ida Mottola Scialla

Ida Mottola Scialla, 82, of Lakewood died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township. She was born in Freehold. Mrs. Scialla was a teacher in Middletown Township Schools for 35 years before her retirement. She was a graduate of Trenton State College. She was the widow of Fred Scialla. She was predeceased by her parents Angelina DeMarco Mottola D’Amico and Michael Mottola. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law law, Anne M. and Melvin C. Willett, Colts Neck; a niece, Lisa A. Keating, Norton, Massachusetts; two nephews, Craig S. Willett, Allentown and Mel M. Willett, Frederick, Maryland; and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
