Obituary of Evelyn May Born

Evelyn May Born, 96, of Jackson, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center. Evelyn was born in Hoboken, New Jersey to Charles Valentine Schaefer and Anna Veronica McAnneny on June 29, 1924. She graduated Emerson High School, Union City, NJ in 1941. Evelyn was previously a secretary for Celwave/Alcatel in Marlboro. Evelyn is predeceased by her cherished husband, George C. Born and grandson Charles A. Born. Surviving are her children George Born, Warren Born and wife Michele, Gary Born and wife Lynn, daughter LuAnn Born, five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A Graveside Service, followed by Burial, will be held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Rd, Freehold, NJ 07728 on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Matthew Nicosia officiating. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold will be handling the funeral arrangements.
