Obituary of Lynn Robin Rosen-Weiner

Lynn Robin Rosen-Weiner August 15th, 1964 – February 10th, 2021 On the morning of February 10th, 2021 Lynn Weiner passed away at the all too young age of 56. She is lovingly survived by her dedicated husband Jeffrey and her devoted son Matthew. She is deeply missed by her mother Lydia Rosen (nee Sidikman), her brother Dr. Alex Rosen, his wife Robin and their children Sara and Jordan, and her sister Sheri, her husband Sean and their daughters Grace and Megan. Lynn was preceded in death by her father Murray Rosen. A native of Long Island, Lynn grew up in Valley Stream NY, graduated from Valley Stream South High School as Salutatorian, received her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany and after a career in the insurance industry, married, and moved to Marlboro NJ where she and her husband Jeff settled down to raise their son Matthew (and their dog Cody). Lynn had a passion for singing and a voice to match, having traveled and competed as a quartet singer winning several competitions. She enjoyed music, dancing, travel, and was renowned for her friendliness and hospitality whether it was just calling to check in on friends and family or hosting family events and holidays. Lynn displayed her passion and love for life through her dedication to her family and love and caring for her friends. Her smile, her joyful laugh, her zest for life, will all be deeply missed. ~ From her sisters in harmony at Liberty Oak Chorus ~ It is with the heaviest of hearts that we learned of the passing of our friend Lynn Weiner. It was Lynn's wishes that she fight this battle together with just her family. Lynn had always been a very private person and when she made her mind up about something, that's the way it was going to be. This news will be hard to hear for so many of us because LOC is unrivaled when it comes to caring for each other and being the absolute best support system anyone could ask for. Lynn knew that but chose to do this her way with her mother, son and loving husband by her side and they respected her wishes. We are all heartbroken by Lynn’s passing. Lynn was a bright light and so enjoyed being on front row, choreographing warmups with such joy and contributing her knowledge and expertise while on the board. Although we did not get the chance to say goodbye to our friend and tell her what she meant to us, our hearts are with her and her family. Chorus was such a highlight in Lynn's life and she told Katie not long ago, how much she missed singing and all of us. We will all keep her family in our thoughts and prayers. Our hearts are breaking for her family and all of us who knew and loved her. With the deepest love and sadness, Liberty Oak Chorus In lieu of gifts charitable donations can be made in the name of Lynn Weiner to the following organizations: • Liberty Oak Chorus: As you know this was Lynn's passion after Matthew, Family and Friends.
