Obituary of Carol Prise

Carol Ann Prise (nee Kelly) Carol passed peacefully on February 4th, 2021 with her sisters at her side. She was born October 27th, 1950 in Brooklyn NY, and lived in Howell, NJ before moving to Fort Myers Florida in 2018. Carol is predeceased by her husband of 42 years Richard, her mother and father Ruth and Eugene, and her sister Kathleen. She is survived by her son Andrew (Sookie); her brother John (Debora); her sisters, Coleen and June (Michael); and also her nieces, nephews and their children, which she loved immensely. Carol will also be missed by her friend, companion and roommate Teddy. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold, NJ A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Veronica Roman Church, 4215 Rt. 9, Howell NJ, where she was a faithful parishioner for many years. She will be laid to rest immediately afterwards by her husband’s side. Carol would liked to be remembered for her tough take no prisoners exterior, but will more likely be remembered for the kind, sweet loving soul her family and friends always knew her as.
