Obituary of Evelyn Weber

Evelyn Weber, 91, of Monroe Township, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she lived in Forked River prior to moving to Monroe Township 16 years ago. Mrs. Weber was a homemaker. She was a communicant of the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Monroe Township. An avid reader, she enjoyed crabbing, playing cards, scratch-off lottery tickets, and playing Bingo. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Anna Zuleeg Ruppel; her husband, George C. Weber, and her son-in-law, Peter F. Adamo. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Peter G. and Chris Weber, Freehold; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn Adamo, Forked River, Marilyn and George Maceli, Freehold, and Susan L. and Anthony Adamo, Monroe Township; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Donations in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
