Obituary of William A. Belgard, Jr.

William A. Belgard, Jr., 80 of Freehold passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at home. He was born in Marksville, Louisiana and resided in Brazoria, Texas before moving to Freehold in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Surviving are his wife, Carol Magee Belgard; daughter, Rae A. Belgard; two sons, William A. Belgard, III and his wife Aimee, and F. Scott Belgard. He is also survived by three grandsons, Croix D. Belgard, William A. Belgard, IV and Thomas J. R. Belgard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to call at St. Rose Church at 9:30 a.m. Entombment at St. Rose cemetery to follow the Mass. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.
