Condolences to Joel and to Michael, Gary, and Jill. Many of my memories of Sandy are of her as an athlete, first wrestling - for real - with Gordon, then swimming at Brighton Beach and later at Rockaway. For some years, I often drove between New Haven and Washington, so New Jersey was a convenient rest stop and it was always fun to visit with Sandy.
