Obituary of Eugene Jankowski

Eugene Jankowski, 76, of Sewaren died on January 3, 2021 at JFK Medical Center, Edison Township. He was born in Newark. He was a meat cutter for Pathmark, Hazlet for over 43 years before his retirement. Mr. Jankowski was a member of U.F.C. W. Local NO 464A. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and fishing and golfing. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Natalie Jankowski. Surviving are his wife, Karen Todaro Jankowski; a daughter, Lisa Kolasinski and her husband Richard, Hobe Sound, Florida; a brother, Richard Jankowski and wife Beverly, Orlando, Florida; a sister, Tina Swydko, Orlando, Florida; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Eileen Todaro; two brothers-in-law, Donald Todaro and wife Sara and Thomas Todaro and his partner, Gilda Parente; and nieces and nephews, Jaclyn and husband Matt, Nicholas, Vincent, Alex, Renee, Tracy, and Lynette Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery. Memorial donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.
