Obituary of Ellie Bertulis

Ellie Bertulis, of Aberdeen Township, NJ passed away at her home on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was born in Brooklyn and had resided in Matawan for many years. She was married to Frank Bertulis, who died in 2017, for 57 years. Ellie was known and loved by all she has met. This family will not mourn, nor grieve, nor feel sorrow, as we know she has not really left us. The memories of her laugh, her heartfelt conversations, and her contributions, must lay those heartbroken feelings to waste. If anything, this family will only know sorrow for the rest of this world who never had the opportunity to sit with her, to talk to her, and especially to laugh with her. She now joins Frank, and that dynamic duo guarantees that Heaven will never be quite the same. Rest in Peace, Mr. and Mrs. Bertulis. We all will miss you. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
