Obituary of William Richard Terhune

William Richard Terhune, 72, of Mount Gilead, North Carolina passed away early Friday morning. December 11, 2020 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Mr. Terhune was born May 9, 1948 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Andrew A. and Florence M. Betzel Terhune. He was a retired truck driver and was last employed with Old Bridge Chemical Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemarie Serafin Terhune and brother, Andrew J. Terhune. He is survived by his daughter, Dawn LaRoza and husband, Steve of Bethlehem, PA; grandson, Nicholas A. LaRoza; brother, Michael K. Terhune and wife, Amy of Florida; and sister, Florence Mount of Mount Gilead; N.C.; and nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
