He later earned an MBA.
Joe spent fifty-three years building an illustrious career in the Marketing/Advertising field. His first marketing assignment was in 1968 with the Colgate Palmolive Company followed in 1970 by programs for Johnson & Johnson. In 1975, Joe relocated to Brussels, Belgium as Director of European Marketing for their Dental Division before returning to the United States and founding the Lanmark Group in Eatontown NJ, the first full-service Advertising Agency dedicated to the Dental Industry. He also served as an adjunct professor at the NJ Dental School, wrote hundreds of articles and manuscripts, as well as authored and self-published three books. Joe was a consummate innovator. He had twelve registered US Patents.
Joe was a very humble and selfless man whose life cannot be fully captured by his career accomplishments. He was a true gentleman who exuded benevolence and altruism each day of his life. Anyone who knew him felt his warmth, kindness, and drive to help others. Joe was an idea generator, with a gift for looking at a problem or opportunity from a range of perspectives. Joe served as a mentor, father figure, and source of strength and wisdom to countless many.
