Obituary of Frank J. Ostrowsky

Frank J. Ostrowsky, 94 of Freehold, passed away on December 5, 2020 at home with family by his side. Born in Freehold, NJ, he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Ostrowsky was a self-employed plumber in the Freehold area, where he forged many friendships over the years. He was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima Grammar School in 1939; and graduated from Freehold High School in 1943. He was a member and former Treasurer of the Democratic Club, and the American Legion Post No. 54, Freehold. He was a devoted catholic and communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church; and a proud U.S. Navy veteran of World War Two. He enjoyed his many getaways to his vacation home in West Virginia, where he felt he was truly in “God’s country”. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Catherine (Kuzava) Ostrowski; and his siblings, George and Edward Ostrowski, Helen Kemp, Bertha Daugila, and Mary Dawson. Surviving are his sister, Rose Bradley, St. Augustine, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 AM with interment following at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
