Obituary of Mary H. O'Carroll

Mary H. O’Carroll, 94 of Colts Neck, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at home. Born and raised in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, she lived in various cities and states prior to settling in Colts Neck 51 years ago. Mrs. O’Carroll was a registered nurse and anesthetist. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Church, Marlboro Township. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Dr. John O’Carroll in 2018, and her daughter Donna M. O’Carroll in 1992. Surviving are her son, John F. O‘Carroll, Colts Neck; three daughters, Mary E. O’Carroll and her husband Robert Kalan, Tijeras, New Mexico, Patricia S. O’Carroll-Degnan and her husband William, Freehold, and Antoinette C. Otrando and her husband Robert, Sunderland, Massachusetts; and five grandchildren, Michael and Justin Kalan, Matthew Degnan, and Catherine and Angela Otrando. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, Route 520, Marlboro Township. Interment will be private. Donations in her memory to the Cistercian Abbey of Dallas, 3550 Cistercian Road, Irving, Texas 75039-4550 would be appreciated.
