Obituary of Lucy Strano

Lucy Strano, 79, of Freehold Township died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Monmouth Crossing, Freehold Township. Mrs. Strano was born in Astoria, N.Y. She was a former resident of Greenbrier at Marlboro where she served as activities chairperson. She was the widow of Carlo Strano who died in 2011. Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Catherine Yorke, Diane Gil, Jean Marie Piccicacco, Edward Gil, and Joan Clark; and several great nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
