Obituary of Ward Bennett, Jr.

Ward Bennett, Jr., 77 of Pennsauken, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Riverfront Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Pennsauken. Born in Neptune Township, he lived in Cream Ridge prior to moving to Pennsauken. He was the owner and operator of Ward Bennett, Jr. Trucking Company, Inc., Cream Ridge. He was predeceased by his wife, Esther Louise Bennett; his children, Ward Bennett, III and Delynne Gonsalves; his brother, Tom Bennett; and his sisters, Josie Burns and Barbara Arnold. Surviving are his sons, Edward Dunne, Duane Bennett, and Dean Bennett; his daughter, Michelle Dickerson; his sisters, Patricia Pettincki and her husband Nick, and Doris Pullen and her husband Joe; 15 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Haddon Lake Park, South Park Avenue, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
