Obituary of Martin J. Mulroy

Martin J. Mulroy, 89 of Manalapan Township, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in Jersey City and Maplewood prior to moving to Manalapan Township 17 years ago. Mr. Mulroy was a security guard for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, New York City. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Patricia V. Merkle Mulroy; a son, Martin J. Mulroy, Jr. and his wife Maureen; his sister, Rosie Struzinski, Melbourne, Florida; and his grandchildren, Emma and Aidan. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 3:15 PM at the funeral home.
