Obituary of Olivia Woolfolk Sparks

Olivia Woolfolk Sparks, 83, of Manalapan Township passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Sparks was born in Hardaway, Alabama. She was a human services technician at Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital and Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. She was the widow of Casby Sparks, Sr. in 1989. She was also predeceased by a son, Casby Sparks, Jr. in 2019. Among her survivors are a brother, Stephen, two sons, Eric and Demond, and a daughter, Sharron Olivia, daughter-in-law, Cynthia (Ambridge) Sparks, and son-in-law, Jarrott T. Lee. She will also be missed by her loving granddaughters, Chanette (Sparks) Deans, Hunter Lee, Layton Lee, Danielle Brake (Ambridge), Tanaya Ambridge, and Dazia Ambridge and grandsons, Casby Sparks III, Aasim Ambridge, Marvin Ambridge, Anthony Ambridge (AJ), six great-grandchildren, a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends who are more like family. A viewing will be held at Old Ship of Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 629 Buckalew Ave., Monroe Township on Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. A service with seating limited to 25 persons will follow from 6 to 7 p.m. All COVID related restrictions will be followed at church.
