Obituary of Patricia Joyce Keating

Patricia Joyce (nee Vreeland) Keating, 77, of Jackson Township died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Specialized Hospital of Central Jersey, Lakewood. She was born in the Cheesequake section of Old Bridge Township and had resided in Millstone Township before moving to Jackson in 1984. She was employed at General Motors, Linden for 16 years before her retirement 20 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy J. Keating, Jr.; her parents, Ira Francis Vreeland and Elsie Schnuck Vreeland; and two brothers, William and James Vreeland. Surviving are a son, Timothy J. Keating, III and wife Ann Marie; six daughters, Doris Howell and husband Marven, Brenda Parrish and husband John, Lynn Keating, Colleen Keating, Karen Carlton and husband Marc, and Kellie Brown and husband Tim; a brother, Francis Vreeland; a sister, Barbara Williams; 14 grandchildren, Christin, Nichol, Maranda, John, Heather, Johnny, Ryan, Connor, Alivia, Justin, Mikaela, Jessica, Emma, and Timmy; and six great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
