Obituary of Elias K. Kyriakides

Elias K. Kyriakides, 88, of Freehold passed away on September 20, 2020 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Odessa, Russia and survived World War II. He served in the Greek Air Force and emigrated to the United States in 1951. He settled in New York and had resided in Florida before returning to be with with his family in the New York area. He was a devoted family man to his wife, children, and grandchildren, loved to read, and enjoyed animals. He was predeceased by his wife, Georgia Maria Kyriakides, who died in 2008 and a grandson, Justin J. Boxman. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Konstandinos E. and Mary Rose Kyriakides; two daughters and sons-in-law, Abby and Jonathan Boxman and Eleni and Joseph Grieco; his grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew Boxman, Elias K., James, and Thomas Kyriakides, and Elyssa and Gianna Grieco; and his siblings and nieces and nephews. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
