Obituary of Herbert Yetman

Herbert Yetman, Jr. 90, of Freehold Township died February 20, 2015 at The Manor, Freehold Township. He was born in Freehold and was a lifelong resident. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed at Nestle, Freehold for 25 years before his retirement in 1986. Prior to that he was employed at the former A.& M. Karagheusian Rug Mill, Freehold. He was a member of the Nestle Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed spending time at Manasquan Beach, weekends at Englishtown Auction, the pacers at Freehold Raceway, his time at the Ironside Gunning Club with his father, and holidays with his family and friends. He was an avid coin and baseball card collector. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Moore; and a niece and nephew. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent. The viewing will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
