Obituary of Cornelius Stanley

Cornelius Stanley, 87, passed away at The Manor, Freehold Township on July 15, 2020. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Cornelius is predeceased by his wife, Phyllis. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: family includes his children, Betsy Cordier (Joseph), Janeil Kuczera (Edward), Cornelius Stanley-Deceased, (Jody), Lea Ann Miller (John), Mark Stanley (Florence), Laura Stanley Felix, Morris Stanley, Faith Jones, Jason Stanley (Sheryl),his grandchildren, Rachel, Jessica, Michele, Christopher(Deceased), Nicholas, Alexandra, Rebecca, Samantha, Alyssa, Dante, Frank, Maren, Taylor, Shain; and nine great grandchildren. Cornelius was very involved in carving decoy ducks. He even won awards in shows. He loved bowling with his wife and friends and enjoyed being around people. He loved his nieces and nephews on his wife’s side, Colin Kennedy, whom he was very close to, MacKenzie Kennedy, Justin Lahaye and all of his nieces and nephews. He loved to laugh and joke around and he loved to smile. He enjoyed meeting new people and loved his family dearly. He will be missed by all who love him. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 2 to 4 P.M.
