Obituary of Gabrielle "Nancy" Chapurtinov

Gabrielle “Nancy” Chapurtinov passed away Wednesday June 3rd 2020 at Centre State Medical Center Freehold, NJ. Gabrielle is survived by her children : Arami Ruiz and wife Kimberly, Maria Rystrom and husband Alex, Felicia Villavicencio and husband Dennis. Her sister Maria Connelly and brothers Peter Chapurtinow and wife Linda, Mickey Chapurtinow, Wallace Chapurtinov and wife Gabby, Joey Chapurtinov and wife Robin. Her grandchildren : Justin Ruiz, DJ Cole, Kendall Cole, Kayla Cole, Helena Rystrom, Zoey Rystrom, AJ Rystrom, Leo Villavicencio, Kaito Villavicencio and Mia Villavicencio. Gabrielle was born March 12, 1952 in Princeton, NJ to Walburga “Wally” and Ochir Chapurtinov. She was a lifelong Monmouth County resident and Bookkeeper at Saker Shoprite in Lakewood, NJ. Gabrielle loved traveling to Hawaii with her late husband Charles Knueppel and visited many times. She had the best sense of humor, was the life of the party and could make anyone laugh with her sass and charm. She loved spending time with her kids, siblings, many nieces and nephews and doting on all of her grandchildren. She was strong and determined and hard working. She was a beautiful soul. A genuinely kind, caring and thoughtful person, loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will forever be missed by so many. Our family would like to thank all of the staff at Care One in Wall who came to know her. She appreciated and loved those who were taking care of her while recovering. A small private gathering to celebrate her life will be held at her home in Millstone, NJ.
