Obituary of Gloria Sabatini

Gloria Sabatini, 93, of Oakville, Connecticut died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at home. She was born in Queens, N.Y. and resided in Freehold, NJ before moving to Connecticut since 2017. She was a graduate of Newtown High School, Queens, N.Y. She enjoyed family and friends, cooking, and trips to Atlantic City. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Dominic L. Sabatini and son in-law Timothy Nagel. Surviving are three sons, Robert Sabatini and wife Laura, Donald Sabatini, and Gary Sabatini and wife Colleen; a daughter, Linda Nagel; five grandchildren, Dawn LaChapelle and husband Scott, Matthew Nagel and wife Kristen, Travis Sabatini and wife Sierra, Kayla Clougher and husband Robert, Carley Sabatini, and Gregory Sabatini; and five great grandchildren Blake, Anastasia, Lia, Julia, and Cole. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday, March 1 from 3 to 7 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold on Monday, March 2 at 11:15 am followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
