Obituary of Marianne Macri

Marianne P. Macri, 71, of Brick, NJ passed away Wednesday, February 26th at home surrounded by her husband Nicholas and her two loving daughters, Alycia and Adena Macri. Born in Orange, NJ Marianne has lived in Brick Township for the last 32 years. She was an elementary school teacher in the shore area for many years, retiring in 2009. She is also survived by her sister Frances Coughlin, three cousins the Honorable Rosemary Gambardella, Frances Gambardella and Benjamin Gambardella, as well as an uncle, Alphonse Gambardella. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold on Saturday Feb. 29th at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. Friends may call at Higgins Memorial Home Saturday morning prior to the Mass from 9 to 10 am. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
