I’m so sorry to hear about George, my heart goes out to his family and friends. I got on the police department in1970. I worked with George on and off my whole career. George was a no nonsense kind of guy. He was never afraid of any situation he got himself into. Freehold is a different kind of town now than it was back in the day. I have so many stories about George, great times and scary ones that we always came out on top. We went deer hunting together, walked the streets of the borough together and planned PBA fundraisers together. The reason why Freehold Borough is what it is today is because guys like George kept the streets safe. When I got in trouble on a bad call, which I did a lot, I was always happy to look to my right and see Mad Dog. The last time I saw George was about a year and a half ago at his house. As soon as he open the door he started laughing. We had a great visit. Richie Quade was with me. Love you buddy, Ptl. Kenny Collins
