I am so sorry to hear of the death of Bill. Bill was my third cousin, and we found each through Ancestry DNA almost a year ago. He was so generous with sharing all the amazing work he had done on our family tree. I live in Australia and he sent both myself and my mum a huge envelope with photos and print outs and we were both overwhelmed by the amount of work he had put in. I never got to meet Bill, but I will never forget him. Rest in Peace Bill.

It was with great sadness that the news of Bills passing reached us here in Ireland.We have lost a great friend and historian and he will be greatly missed by all of us.His visits to us here in the old sod were always something to look forward to where many details of family history were discussed.Bill was thorough in researching these matters and he became a great source of information for the family tree. We are thinking of Bills family at this difficult time and we send sincere condolences to Mary Ellen,Maureen and Joe and the extended relatives who are mourning their loved one. May Billy rest in peace as he rejoins his Mam and Dad and the family members who have gone to their reward earlier in the company of the great and the good.
