Obituary of Leona Rothman

Leona C. Rothman, 45 from the Madison Park section of Parlin, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was born in Bronx N.Y. and had lived in Parlin for the last 61 years. She was a Noon Time Supervisor for the Old Bridge School System before her retirement. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Bernard in 2005, and a daughter, Ellen in 1958. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-laws, Andrew and Mary Ann, Colts Neck; and David and Marilyn, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jody and Jeff Rosato, Freehold, and Maureen and Robert DeLellis, California; Grandchildren, Corey, Evan, Amber, Dylan, Lauren, Breanne and her husband Daniel, Derek and his wife Danielle, Kristen and Jake. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at Noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
