Obituary of Raymond L. Rogers

Raymond L. Rogers, 89 of Neptune Township, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at home. Born in Neptune City, he lived in Keyport, Matawan and Eatontown prior to moving to Neptune Township 60 years ago. Mr. Rogers was a maintenance worker at Seaview Square Mall prior to his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. His wife, Eleanor Andrews Rogers died in 2004, and a son, Wayne Gilbert died in 2008. Surviving are his children, Julia Calhoun, Joseph A. Gilbert-Rogers, Jennifer Girten, Raymond L. Rogers, William Gilbert, and Mary Alger; 12 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Services will be private. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
