Obituary of John K. Simms

John K. Simms, 54 a lifelong resident of Freehold, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Neptune Township. He attended the Freehold Borough Schools, and was a graduate of Freehold High School. He was predeceased by his father, John Gibson, in 1987. Surviving are his mother, Milzonia Gibson, Freehold; two sons, James Simms and John Simms, both of Coral Springs, Florida; three daughters, Stacie Simms, Shakira Simms, and Sharylle Simms, all of Freehold; and three sisters, Rosalind Simms, Freehold, Dorothy Dehaney, Neptune, and Angela Hill, Freehold. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Noon. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
