Obituary of Vera Jean Brodie Love

VERA JEAN BRODIE LOVE

FREEHOLD – Vera Jean Brodie Love, 74, departed this earth on Tuesday, November 5 at Neptune Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation.  She was born in Neptune on October 2, 1945.

Vera was a member of New Beginnings Agape Christian Center for many years where she sang in the choir and attended bible study regularly.  She loved listening to gospel music, reading her bible and nurturing her family especially her grandchildren. 

Vera was predeceased by her parents Glodie & Lillie B Brodie, her brothers Clarence Stokes, Kenny, Jesse, Robert and Felman Brodie, her sisters Julie Gandy and Cynthia Brodie.

She is survived by her husband James Moses Love, her 3 children Dionne Brantley-Lewis of Loganville, GA, Carla Brantley of Kissimmee, Fl and Tara Brantley of Freehold, 4 grandchildren Brianna, Brendan, Phillip and Kayiden, brothers George and Lawrence Brodie and a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.

Vera’s “Home Going Service” will be Wednesday, November 13th at New Beginnings Agape Christian Center.  The viewing will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and service will begin at 11:00 am followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.  The repast will be at New Beginnings Agape Christian Center.
