Our deepest condolences to Dering's family. Although we only got to know him in the last 6 or 8 years he left a lasting memory in our hearts. He took over the coordination of readers at Mass with total dedication. He also was instrumental in bringing the Bible Study courses to St. Mary's and was always enthusiastic about it. He was so well versed in church history and loved to share it that it was always a pleasure to learn from him. He always had a twinkle in his eye. He will be missed.
