Obituary of Jose Anthony Colon

Jose “Grip” Anthony Colon passed away at Jersey Shore Medical Center on October 8, 2019 7:00 pm at the age of 56.

Jose is survived by his loving wife Felicita Colon of 20 years. They were married in Monmouth County on February 5, 2000.

Jose is lovingly remembered by his daughter Jasmen age; 24, Son Morgan age; 22, Brother Pedro DeJesus, Sisters; Irma Nuez, Margarita Ramirez, Vickie Colon and Marta DeJesus, along with many nieces and nephews.

Jose was born in Neptune, NJ on July 26, 1963. He was a phenomenal man who worked hard to provide for his family and achieved his CDL driving license in 2017.

Jose enjoyed spending time with his wife, going to the beach, watching the New York Yankees play, discovering new music and working on cars.

The visitation will be held at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street Freehold, NJ. 2:00pm-4:00pm then 7:00pm-9:00pm on October 11, 2019.

His Service will be held on October 12, 2019 at Saint Rosa Of Lima Church, 16 Mc Lean St. Freehold NJ at 10am.
