Obituary of Donald Warrington Lewis, Jr.

Donald Warrington Lewis, Jr., 71 of Freehold passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at CentraState Medical center, Freehold Township.  He was born in Neptune Township.

Mr. Lewis was a salesman for Rainbow Vacuums, Farmingdale for 15 years before his retirement.

He was a U.S. navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was predeceased by his parents, Donald Warrington Lewis, Sr. and Caroline Mayes Lewis; and a daughter, Michelle Lewis.

Surviving are his sons, Chyenne W. Lewis, Freehold, Andre Lewis, Jersey City, and Jaleni Lewis-Castagna, Forked River; his daughters, Tia Thompson, Bradenton, Florida, and Donye Lewis, Asbury Park; two brothers, Dean Lewis, Freehold, and Rodney Robinson, Durham, North Carolina; a sister, Marsha Holts, Neptune; 18 grandchildren; one great grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Community Refuge Church, 4 Sobechko Road, Manalapan Township. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
