Obituary of Bernice Berkowitz

Bernice Berkowitz, 96 of East Windsor passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Presbyterian Home at Meadow Lakes, East Windsor.  Born in Brooklyn, New York, she lived in Scotch Plains and Highland Park prior to moving to the East Windsor area over 25 years ago.

Mrs. Berkowitz was a former member of the Perrineville Jewish Center.

She was predeceased by her husband, Morton Berkowitz, in 1999.

Surviving are three sons, Stuart Berkowitz, Richard Berkowitz and Jan Berkowitz; two daughters, Nancy Atlas and Lori Tuskey; twelve grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Noon.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 am until service time.
