Obituary of Bridget Mrakovcich

Bridget “Nancy” Mrakovcich, 72, of Middletown Township died April 12, 2015 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born in Tuam, County Galway, Ireland and had resided in Howell Township before moving to Middletown. Mrs. Mrakovcich was an active communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Farmingdale. She was a supporter of her husband’s service to the B.P.O.E. Lodge, Long Branch, Howell Lions Club, and St. Catherine of Siena Council, Knights of Columbus. Nancy dedicated much of her free time to religious education for St. Catherine's, North Howell Little League, and Freehold Borough High School as a member of the food service staff. Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph J. and Angela Mrakovcich; a brother, Tommy St. John; and her many nieces and nephews back home in Ireland whom she loved so much. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 31 Asbury Ave, Farmingdale on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, Freehold.
