Obituary of Janet Gesualdo

Janet Gesualdo, 61, of Millstone Township passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 19, 2019. She was born in St. Boniface, Winnipeg, Mantioba, Canada on August 24th 1957. She grew up in Lyndhurst, New Jersey before residing in Millstone Township, New Jersey for 28 years with her husband Ronald P. Gesualdo of 39 years. Janet will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was the most proud of her two sons, Ronald M. Gesualdo and Michael A. Gesualdo. Janet loved to spend time with her family especially her three grandchildren, Michael, Eva and Nicholas. Janet and her husband Ronald own Gene’s Driving School, Matawan where Janet was the Vice President. Janet is predeceased by her father-in-law Anthony Gesualdo, brother-in-law Richard Gesualdo, step father-in-law Henry Ruesch, and her beloved dog Sherry. Surviving are her loving husband, Ronald P. Gesualdo; two sons, Ronald M. Gesualdo and wife Theresa and Michael A. Gesualdo and wife Michelle. Her three grandchildren Michael, Eva and Nicholas; Her parents, Werner and Eva Hauschild; sister Ute Mattessich (Hauschild); Her mother in law Nancy Ruesch (Gaccione-Gesualdo); Brother in law Paul Gesualdo; Sister in law and brother in law Rebecca (Gesualdo) and George Rudnitsky and a sister in law Carolyn Gesualdo (Holderman). Visiting hours will be held at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold New Jersey on Wednesday, January 23rd from the hours of 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 24th at 10:30 am followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Millstone Township, New Jersey.
