Obituary of Paul M. Ryer

Paul M. Ryer, 81, of West Windsor Township died on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Mr. Ryer was born in Bayonne. He had served in the U.S. Army. He was a production manager at IFF, South Brunswick where he was employed for 35 years before his retirement in 1998. Mr. Ryer was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Freehold where he served as a chalice administrator and Sunday School teacher. He was a former Scout Master of Boy Scout of America Troop No. 180, Manalapan Township. His wife, Phyllis Ryer, died on October 1, 2018. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew and Sharon Galbraith Ryer, Hightstown and Paul H. and Susan Ryer, Hingham, Massachusetts; and four grandchildren, Sam, Emily, Tom and Audrey Ryer. The Burial Office and Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to St Peter’s Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 33 Throckmorton Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
